O Product Led Growth (PLG) is a growth strategy in which the product itself serves as the main driver for acquiring, retaining and expanding customers.
In PLG models, users try out the product before fully committing, often through freemium versions or trial periods. In this way, the company is able to gain more information about the customer in order to be more surgical in the sale.
This method differs from traditional sales-led growth, as it relies on the user's experience with the product to drive growth. conversion and adoption, rather than relying heavily on sales or marketing teams.
