Hot lead

One Hot Lead refers to an individual or entity that has demonstrated a high level of interest in a product or service and is considered highly likely to convert into a customer.

This type of lead have usually interacted with the brand several times, whether through visiting the website, filling in forms, downloading content or even direct contact.

The temperature of the lead is a metaphor to describe the level of readiness to buy. A Hot Lead generally require a more direct sales approach, as they already recognize their need or problem and see the solution offered by the company as a viable option.

Because they are already familiar with and engaged with the brand, the efforts to convert a hot lead are often smaller and more effective than with less involved leads.
