O Sales Funnel is a model that represents the customer journey from the first contact with the brand to the conclusion of a sale.

It's visualized as a funnel because many potential customers start at the top, but only a percentage reach the end and make a purchase.

The funnel is divided into stages, such as awareness, consideration and decision, helping companies to understand and optimize each phase.

One famous framework is AARRR: Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue, Referral.

The goal is always to get more people to the bottom of the funnel, because that's where the revenue is. This can be achieved by putting more people at the top of the funnel or by improving the conversion at each stage.
